The Job
WarnerMedia seeks an Editorial Producer, Guests for the The Lead with Jake Tapper.
The Daily
• Duties will include significant research, writing, pre-interviews, audience outreach and coordination.
• Duties will also include working with contributors and talent and will require travel to events.
• The ideal candidate will have strong editorial judgement and a political news background.
The Essentials
• 4+ years of experience in television news.
• Strong editorial and logistical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, politics or related field of study is preferred.
• Previous experience conducting thoroughly-sourced research required.
• Extensive knowledge of and interest in politics, history, current events and major political figures essential.
• Requires a creative thinker with excellent organizational skills.
• Must be able to work an extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require.
• Must be able to travel
