Responsibilities
MBA Internships exist within the following business areas:
• Ad Sales
• CNBC
• Content Distribution
Internships may include (but are not limited to):
• Ad Sales – Insights & Measurements
• CNBC - Business Development & Strategy
• Content Distribution – Product Partnerships
Daily responsibilities and projects may include (but are not limited to):
• Ad Sales – Insights & Measurements: The role will support Sports & Tokyo 2020 Olympics ad sales research. The intern will help create positioning which helps drive revenue, understand campaign/content performance, and build reports/recap narratives about campaign performance. The intern will also do an independent project about white space sports positioning (revenue) opportunities.

• CNBC - Business Development & Strategy: As an intern, you will work closely with our business unit leaders and senior management to facilitate decision making through strategic and financial analysis as well as through day-to-day negotiations with key partners. Driving projects from concept stage to conclusion, the team contributes directly to the operational excellence across our business in addition to the development and implementation of CNBC's growth strategy. You will also be joining a high profile team to support CNBC's traditional businesses and partnerships as well as organic and inorganic investment opportunities, working in tandem with individual business teams. (Note: This opportunity will be based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ)

• Content Distribution – Product Partnerships: The Product Partnerships team is responsible for managing Multi-Platform Video Distributors and leverage product initiatives, business needs, content opportunities and related analytics to drive revenue growth. The intern will have exposure to key business and technology drivers that contribute to successful product experiences on video platforms. Intern responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Help drive MVPD performance and monetization through collaborative programming and product initiatives
• Collaborate across various departments and levels within the company including Business Development & Sales, Networks, Operations, Finance, Ad Sales, Marketing, Legal and Business Affairs
• Gather business and technical requirements to drive product roadmaps and develop a POV for ways to improve the consumer experience; Research market trends, data insights and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
• Assist the Product Partnerships team on a daily basis in preparation for upcoming meetings, presentations, and successful execution of key tent-pole events (e.g. Olympics)
Qualifications
/Requirements
• In pursuit of a Master of Business Administration degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal
• Needs to be able to work on-site in New York, NY or Englewood Cliffs, NJ. CNBC offers Free Shuttle Service.
Internships at NBCUniversal are paid and do not require course credit
