Responsibilities
OVERVIEW
The incumbent is responsible for the preparation and coordination of sales support activities. He/she is part of the sales team and is an important functional part of the sales execution. He/she will work collaboratively with the sales team, clients and agencies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with preparation of sales pitch/proposals for TV, digital and events, which includes data research, idea generation, presentation slides and visual aids such as videos.
• Act as a resource center for all sales tools, products, and event opportunities. Keeping all information updated and shared amongst the ad sales teams regionally.
• Act as the coordinator for client/agencies and CNBC Asia on Sales deal execution and after sales support.
• Assist sales/ client / agency in event planning, organization, and execution to ensure smooth and successful deals delivery.
• Actively develop relationships with agency clients.
• Actively update and maintain sales related videos database.
• Create post campaign analysis deck and case studies for selected campaigns on a regular basis.
• Support Manager, Sales Planning & Operations on CNBC global sales initiatives including but not limited to sponsorship fulfilment, post analysis and execution.
• Collect competitor intelligence on how other channels sell and position their channels/websites and champion the CNBC digital offerings.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Diploma or Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field of study.
• Preferably 1 years of experience in client servicing role.
• Prior work experience in media, advertising or media owner will be an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Proficient in spoken and written English. Knowledge of another Asian language will be advantageous.
• Creative and innovative individual with the flair to think out of the box.
• Self-motivated, fast learner who is responsible.
• Meticulous, analytical and a keen eye for details.
• Team player with proven initiative.
• Good multi-tasking skills; able to manage challenging work timelines.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
