Full Time Job
Responsibilities
The Sales Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting all sponsorship and monetization efforts for the growing CNBC events team, which produces more than 20 conferences, thought leadership dinners, and other live events annually. The coordinator will split their time between sales/marketing efforts and post-sale sponsor management. This position is based in New York City and reports to the Director of Sales Marketing.
Marketing
• Maintain all events marketing materials, including presentations, sell-sheets, sizzle reels, and e-blasts
• Support in the research and development of event sponsorship proposals and recaps
• Create and update marketing archive of competitive events, CNBC event photos/videos, and other key details
Sales
• Lead prospecting for event sponsorship and maintain database of contact information and outreach notes
• Support with prospect outreach, including sending initial emails, responding to inbound requests, and leading preliminary informational calls
• Ownership of event sponsorship tracker
Sponsor Management
• Support Director with sponsor communication and planning
• Organize sponsor details and logistics for events
• Proactively brainstorm unique and high-impact sponsor integration ideas
Other
• Staff various events, supporting on-site as necessary
• Integral member of the CNBC events team, participating in team-wide meetings, trainings, and retreats
Qualifications/Requirements
• College Degree
• Two or more years of related experience, ideally in media sales/marketing or events
• Solid experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel-InDesign and Photoshop skills a plus
