Responsibilities
The Regional Account Director will lead the sales effort for Germany, and Austria, and hold responsibility for key UK accounts as well as the TMT sector. They will:
• Manage the sale and servicing of large international multi-platform media campaigns
• Maximise monetisation of CNBC platforms including TV / Digital / Social / Events
• Build compelling and innovative multi-platform proposals and campaigns in partnership with internal brand strategy and data and insight teams
• Deliver optimised revenues from customers, and measurable ROI and performance
• Secure preferred status with Clients & Agencies, grow and renew existing brand partnership activities, and identify and secure new prospects
• Represent CNBC and the Catalyst brand, among a network of senior decision makers within a spectrum of industries and geographies
Based in London, the Regional Account Director role will report to the Vice President of Sales EMEA and manage an Account Executive.
Qualifications/Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Engage with a portfolio of international clients and deliver complex media solutions effectively and efficiently
• Understand the goals and objectives of the brands you partner, and formulate strategic solutions for them that exceed expectations
• Build multi-platform proposals, and campaigns in partnership with internal teams that deliver optimised revenues from customers, and ROI through measured performance
• Establish deep rooted relationships with clients, across sector categories, and geographies and apply a strong customer service ethos to deliver shared partnership goals
• Establish CNBC Catalyst as a top-of-mind media partner within the client base via enviable contacts
• Provide accurate forecasts that support with weekly reporting
• Meet and exceed agreed revenue goals
• Attract, retain and develop the Account Executive through coaching and empowering them to take responsibility for their jobs and goals.
• Delegate agreed responsibilities and expect accountability, regular feedback and transparent communication.
• Partner with the Account Executive, foster a spirit of teamwork and unity to deliver a combined revenue target
REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience in media sales and management
• Advanced written and oral communication skills
• Keen sales generator, and skilled negotiator
• Practised and effective team worker
• Ability to lead and manage other sales employees
• Strong presentation skills and oratory skills
• Excellent command of Word, Excel, Power point
• Proactive, innovator who employs originality to drive revenue growth
• Well organised and able to prioritise effectively
• Confident and calm under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and customer handling skills
• Experience in international marketing communications, Media Agency and Sales proficient
• Ability to maintain & build excellent client & agency relationships
