Responsibilities
The Production Manager is responsible for management and day-to-day oversite of all Current Series 3rd Party productions from physical production through final Deliverables.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and solve day-to-day physical Production and Post Production issues for all assigned 3rd Party ProdCo projects
• Ensure that all Productions are running efficiently and smoothly
• Manage and track the Production and Post schedules
• Manage and track the approved ProdCo series Budgets
• Manage and track the ProdCo Cost Reports
• Develop and maintain relationships with all active 3rd Party ProdCos
• Assess Prod Co production plans to make sure that Network' needs are met as they relate to creative, technical, legal, cost, and schedule
• Explain network production and delivery technical standards, insurance, safety policies, and wrap requirements to all 3rd party ProdCos
• Manage the Multiplatform Deliverables distro and systems relating to ProdCo's Air Master delivery or Master Assets to the various internal Departments
• Attend weekly internal department meetings
• Assist in managing the duties of the Director of Production
• Generally support any requests from the Director of Production and support information to the EVP, SVP and VP's as needed
Qualifications
/Requirements
• 5 years preferred of production management experience or production finance for a broadcast network, cable network, or television production company
• Must also have a good understanding of production workflow and have hands-on experience in reality/studio-based productions
• Experience with Movie Magic budget creation and review, schedules, and full-scale production plans for a variety of program types (i.e. presentations, series, specials)
• Excellent project management, accounting, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented but able to demonstrate leadership skills; must be organized, accurate, articulate, responsible, flexible, resourceful, self-motivated
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work cooperatively with both internal and outside company executives
