Part Time Paid Internship
Responsibilities
Do you want to work for one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, marketing of entertainment and news?
To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be studying or have no more than one year of experience post your graduating with a degree-level or equivalent qualification.
You must also be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship.
To ensure that you are considered for the placement that best fits your interest and skillset, we recommend that you apply to no more than 3 placements.
Qualifications
/Requirements
• Work closely with the International Events Team to develop, plan and execute strategic event programs that are targeted at senior executives and policy makers from across industries and governments
• Assist with creative process, including invites, event production, audio visual requirements, production and overall logistics
• Book delegates for a number of events in the CNBC Catalyst portfolio
• Oversee and be responsible for the acquisition of new and repeat attendees to our market leading global events
• Curate the invitation lists and identify potential audience members
• Source contact information through a variety of channels, including but not limited to desktop research, direct external outreach, relationships with internal and external partners, and acquired databases
• Source external organisations to partner with to attract their member to our regional or global events
• Communicate event details to registered attendees and build relationships in ahead of the event to ensure their attendance
• Deliver departmental analysis/reporting, including help putting together presentations and post-event analysis for internal reporting purposes which in turn will influence future decisions.
• Communicating with vendors and partners in a timely and efficient manner to deliver flawless event execution
• Provide global insights through market research and analysis of key trends and developments for a wide range of industries
• Updating various industry event lists, documents and charts
• Coordinating creative assets requests and deliveries
• Any other duties as assigned
Essential Skills:
• A great communicator - via email, by phone, in person-and simultaneously
• Strong research skills
• Good relationship builder
• Strong database management, organizational and project management skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects at any given time
• Proactive, resourceful and meticulous
• Able to complete tasks and follow up without being prompted
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Entry level or basic understanding of TV/digital production cycle
Education
and Qualification:
To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be studying or have no more than one year of experience post your graduating with a degree-level or equivalent qualification.
Preferably studied Events, Events Production or Media. However, you can study any subject as long as you have a strong interest in events and experiences.
