Part Time Paid Internship
Responsibilities
Do you want to work for one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, marketing of entertainment and news?
To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be studying or have no more than one year of experience post your graduating with a degree-level or equivalent qualification.
You must also be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship.
To ensure that you are considered for the placement that best fits your interest and skillset, we recommend that you apply to no more than 3 placements.
Qualifications
/Requirements
Working closely with CNBC Catalyst Production Manager, Supervising Producers, Producers and Editors across all live commercial production projects, reporting ultimately to Director, Content Studio.
• Assisting Production Manager with preparation and distribution of call sheets and risk assessment for filming days
• Attending filming days and supporting the producer, duties may include securing release forms, data wrangling and/or live logging
• Helping the Production Manager to track and file production paperwork including invoice, purchase orders, release forms, deal reviews and scripts
• Preparing archive forms and music cue sheets for delivered programs, native articles and social media content
• Working with the Production to capture all footage, image and music scores and ensure all materials has properly recorded, reported and licensed
• Assisting with media management, duties may include ingesting shot material, archiving old project files, uploading material to Media Silo and creating/sharing viewing links with clients and colleagues
• Contributing ideas and research to brainstorms and content pitches
Essential Skills:
• Entry level awareness of and interest in typical production cycle
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
• Detail-oriented, multi-tasker
• Ability to work within a team and autonomously
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Proactively contributes ideas that improve operations, systems, development process
• Active consumer of TV/digital content with awareness of the marketplace
• Creatively-orientated with a natural interest in content story telling
• Experience of liaising with both junior and senior stakeholders
Education
and Qualifications:
You will ideally be currently studying or a recent Graduate level in production or media related qualification.
Related production or media work experience is desirable e.g. independent production company, ad agency, media agency
