Responsibilities
The Digital & Affiliate Sales Operations Executive EMEA will support the Digital & Affiliate Sales Operations Manager EMEA in ensuring the smooth running of advertisers' campaigns, through liaison with the CNBC global sales teams, Marketing teams, digital & TV affiliates, creative website design and regional operations and technical teams and with the data and insight and finance department.
The role is responsible for TV and digital ad sales operations support, inventory management, and delivers support to the CNBC Catalyst sales team in London, and an international Director in the USA. Based in London the role will report to the Digital & Affiliate Sales Operations Manager EMEA.
Qualifications/Requirements
CNBC Sales Organisation Operations:
• Forecast and analyse available inventory for outgoing Catalyst sales proposals
• Work cross-functionally to collect data and make actionable recommendations to sales team
• Support ongoing yield management initiatives and assist in the development and implementation of enterprise pricing and inventory strategies
• Supports efforts to conduct analyses and provide actionable insight that accurately addresses business objectives through
• Both quantitative and qualitative edata mining
• Liaise with third party ad servers, rich media vendors, agencies, internal sales staff, product and design teams on all elements related to ad trafficking.
• Support the delivery and reliable set up, tagging and trafficking of digital advertising campaigns across platforms and geographies
• Provide support for effective QC and QA troubleshooting and problem resolution with creative, tags, clicks, and impressions discrepancies
• Ensure compliant technical delivery of standard, rich media and responsive creative across all devices, screens and platforms
• Support campaign optimisation to guarantee delivery of campaign goals and objectives
• Manage requests for financial approval and coordinate billing reconciliation
• Ad hoc projects as assigned.
CNBC Affiliate Operations:
• Coordinate advertising campaign delivery across CNBC affiliate TV / Digital / Mobile platforms
• - CNBC US, APAC, NBCU, Moneycontrol.com, Class Italy, CNBC Arabia, CNBC Africa, & digital affiliates such as Pubmatic, Inskin, TEADS, Smartology, Mobkoi
• Ensure smooth on-boarding of technology and programmatic vendors who partner with this CNBC International
• Test and quality assure new products
• Acts as resource for colleagues with less immediate knowledge of affiliates
• Procure and distribute among the sales team, Affiliate sales materials, and packages for monetisation across the international sales team
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
• Experience of working within a digital ad operations role
• Knowledge and understanding of online and TV advertising sales, including programmatic, mobile and Apps
• Operational experience of DFP an advantage, familiarity with rich media tags, basic understanding of Java Scripts, CSS, HTML5 and responsive design
• Understanding of internet technologies and 3rd parties (DoubleClick, Sizmek, AdForm etc.)
• Basic knowledge of digital media language (CTR, CPMs, eCPMs, SSPs, DMPs) and in digital measurement (UUs, PVs, Dwell, Viewability)
• Experience with order management systems - Operative One
• Knowledge of video ad serving (FreeWheel MRM Preferred) and DFP ad serving platforms
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced and changeable industry
• Fluency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• A team ethic and collaborative mind-set
• Eligible to work in the EU
