Responsibilities
OVERVIEW
The Marketing & Communications Assistant assists in the planning, management and delivery of CNBC International's marketing and communications activities across APAC. Working with the Marketing & Partnerships Associate, APAC and Communications Manager, International, the Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the team including servicing CNBC's international partnerships, promoting CNBC's external publicity efforts and supporting the planning of CNBC's flagship marketing events. This role will report to the Marketing and Partnerships Associate, APAC and support the Communications Manager, International.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with the Marketing & Partnerships Associate, APAC to
• Support the delivery of CNBC's international partnerships from liaising with partners to managing post-campaign reporting
• Assist in the delivery of a range of marketing projects and campaigns
• Coordinate virtual events, including townhall meetings
• Coordinate and track media buys across multiple platforms
• Ensure the consistency of CNBC brand executions across departments
• Work closely with the Communications Manager, International to
• Support in the promotion of CNBC's editorial output across owned and earned media platforms
• Ensure CNBC International's show descriptions, anchor biographies and photography bank are updated on a regular basis
• Brief and coordinate the production of PR and branded assets with CNBC's graphics team and external agencies
• Support the development of CNBC International's weekly news alerts and internal newsletter(s)
• Create, manage and update targeted and specialty media lists for external publicity campaigns
• Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure marketing activity and communications are aligned
• Manage and drive growth of databases and support in researching case studies
• Support in the planning and management of CNBC content on social media platforms
• Provide administrative support to the MarComms team
Qualifications
/Requirements
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
• Impeccable attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage their own work in a number of streams at the same time, delivering on deadline imperative
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills fundamental
• A team player with a collaborative and proactive attitude essential
• Confident IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word is key
• Basic knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite
• Previous experience working in a communications or marketing role desirable
• A willingness to learn about the news industry a plus
• Experience with email marketing platforms such as Dotdigital, MailChimp or similar would be advantageous
• Social media experience, including knowledge of analytics, would be a bonus
