ISO Supervising Producer: Nashville, TN
CMT is seeking a freelance Nashville based Supervising Producer for digital-first, short form content. This position requires experience with all types of content production and editing including live events, in-studio shoots, multicam switching, social and live streaming. Knowledge of the country music landscape is a plus.
• Oversee long-term and daily video production and distribution across all digital and social video platforms.
• Create overall process and streamlined workflows for the video team to get a concept from development through post production.
• Manage producers, shooters, and editors and identify the best video resources and production teams are in place for each
• Collaborating with production management team on bringing ideas and franchises to life.
• Work strategically with Research to understand what video works - and what doesn't.
• Stay continually involved in all Product discussions, taking responsibility for how video content is published and seen by the audience.
• Help craft, update and distribute creative briefs to all relevant parties for each project. Review briefs to make sure all details are included in order to move forward with the project
• Maintain content slate for all initiatives; ensure that all programming/production content is on track for publishing needs
• Collaborate with department leads other business units to ensure the best possible video execution and deliverable
• Oversee post editorial and ensure content is properly vetted and approved for delivery
