CMA Entertainment, a boutique management firm is offering an Ofice Assistant position that provides eligible candidates with exposure to the operations of entertainment talent management and production. The hired candidate will gain insight into the mechanics of talent management and develop skills to service A-list industry talent. In addition, the Assistant will handle talent submissions; correspond with industry executives, and perform general office duties and coordinate audition assignments for talent roster pertaining to film and television projects. Reports directly to Owner/Partner of Talent Department and will participate in the development, strategic planning, branding and monetizing goals for the company's talent roster.
Looking for candidates with industry experience and relationships. Must be a self-starter and well organized. Creative thinker, ability to multi-task in a busy environment with strong communication and reasoning skills.
Qualifications:
College degree preferred (AA or BA)
Must have reliable transportation
Minimum of 25 hours per week
General responsibilities include but are not limited to:
General office duties including filing, scheduling, email, answering phones
Assist in the creation and issuance of artist contracts
Appointment setting
Cold calls and pitching
Interface with Casting Directors, Clients, Agents
Talent development, submissions, and branding
Internet market research, social media strategies, data analytics, and internal statistics
Support managers with various tasks
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MacBook Pro Editing
Miscellaneous office responsibilities
