JOB SUMMARY
The Cleveland Monsters (AHL) and Cleveland Charge (NBA G League), who are part of Cavaliers Holdings, LLC, seek a coachable, hardworking individual with a passion for growing a career in the professional sports business.
Under the leadership of the Manager of Marketing and Promotions, the Cleveland Monsters and Charge Business Operations Seasonal Assistant will be responsible for a variety of duties touching various areas of the business. Duties will include assisting on game days with Fan Experience Packages such as executing Rink of Dreams and Court of Dreams (youth hockey and youth basketball games), involvement with game presentation, working community promotional events such as the Monsters and Charge Summer Tour, general office duties such as writing game day agendas or processing group order forms, assisting on game days with promotions and much more!
This position could be a steppingstone into a full-time marketing, promotions, communications, or sales position. Candidate should be a strong communicator and self-starter. The ideal candidate is looking to break into the industry and will be highly motivated to go above and beyond assigned duties to earn growth beyond this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assisting with and executing game day fan experience packages.
• Helping with pre-game youth hockey and youth basketball.
• Attend community promotional events.
• Assist with content capture in support of franchise digital teams.
• Help oversee concourse activation and promotional executions on game days.
• General office duties.
• Interact with fans on game days.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude required.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Computer literacy required.
• Position requires excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Contagious, positive attitude.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, professionalism and a passion for the sports industry.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
