JOB SUMMARY:
Serves as Cinematographer. Produces cinema quality video content for internal and external clients in accordance with established branding guidelines for distribution via various mediums. Records video content and performs post-production editing and produces motion graphics content. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
50% - Essential - Video Production: Coordinates with clients, and other personnel to produce video projects. Records and edits video for client projects to meet the specific needs for each deliverable. Acquires footage using cinema camera equipment and film-style production tools. Manipulates footage utilizing complex post-production workflows and techniques. Provide assistance for video projects in a variety of video production roles as necessary. Performs work with professional video equipment in studio environments and on location.
25% - Essential - Cinematography: Coordinates with other staff members to capture video content for various projects. Assesses lighting and other environmental conditions to determine best approach for acquiring footage. Utilizes cinema-style production equipment (DSLR, cinema cameras, various camera support and movement equipment, lighting and light modifiers) to capture cinematic quality footage.
20% - Essential - Motion Graphics: Produces and customizes 2D motion media content and templates under the direction of the Motion Graphics Design Director as necessary to be used within various video projects. Develops original graphics for individuals projects or modifications and variations of branding for serial pieces. Produces motion graphic assets to adhere to established brand standards.
5% - Essential - Digital Asset Management: Manages digital video contents and assets utilizing local and networked information technology to support video production. Manages and maintains digital assets and archives of video content so that assets are accessible for all users and available for utilization through various video projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma and experience or additional education in (cinematography, video production and motion graphics) production of radio or television programs.
