JOB DESCRIPTION:
Get the opportunity to work with iconic artists and culture driving projects. The Product Manager of Physical will be vital in the growth of this area of our exciting new age company, and you will have endless growth opportunities within our organization as we expand.
You will work with our internal teams and client management on new album releases, tour launches, and catalog releases for some of the most popular artists in the world. This will entail physical product management for CD, DVD, Vinyl, and merchandise. Expect to work many releases at once.
ABOUT YOU:
We are looking for someone with an excellent knowledge of the music industry and physical product who has a 'can do' attitude, is a self starter, very organized, has strong written and oral communications skills, has the ability to foresee required actions in the future, and is good at working in a team environment. If you're not willing to roll your sleeves up and get dirty, don't apply for this job.
RESPONSIBILITIES - include, but are not limited to:
• Managing current relationships with physical suppliers and building new ones.
• Interfacing with internal marketing and creative teams.
• Generate ideas for unique products.
• Optimizing sales and maximizing profits.
• Facilitate sharing of necessary information between internal and external teams.
• Communicate with executive and internal team to manage priorities.
EXPERIENCE:
We are looking for someone with an excellent knowledge of the music industry and physical product who has a 'can do' attitude, is a self starter, takes direction VERY well, is very organized, has strong written and oral communications skills, has the ability to foresee required actions in the future, and is good at working in a small team environment. If you're not willing to roll your sleeves up and get dirty, DO NOT apply for this job.
• Organization is a ''must have,'' not ''nice to have.''
• Advanced understanding of music industry ecosystem.
• Experience working with manufacturers, distributors, and retail outlets for physical product.
• Good communication skills and willingness to communicate by various mediums (email, phone, messaging).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
