Part Time Job
Department: Arizona Operations
Job Title: Spring Training Security
Reports To: Operations Manager
FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Term: 2021 Spring Training season (Feb. – March)
Commitment: 10-29 hours per week; may include nights, weekends and holidays
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for checking vehicles for appropriate parking permit or redirecting as needed.
• Prevent general public from entering facility, redirecting them to practice fields and public entrances.
• Maintain security by limiting fan access to designated areas, redirecting fans as necessary and answering their questions, etc.
• Maintain an organized, clean and orderly work area.
• Greet and assist fans in a professional manner.
• Assist in other operational and customer service duties as needed.
Qualifications:
• Prior work experience in at least one business setting and one sports setting preferred. Should be generally interested in the sports industry.
Requirements:
• The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, good grammar, voice, and diction, strong interpersonal skills and a team oriented spirit to provide exceptional service.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and be a self-starter.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime, if necessary.
• Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and transport items up to 55 lbs.
Please Note:
• This is a part-time seasonal position and no benefits will be provided.
• Position is located in Goodyear, AZ.
• Position is paid at State of Arizona minimum wage.
Expectations:
• Adhere to Cincinnati Reds Organization Policies and Procedures.
• Act as a role model within and outside the Cincinnati Reds Organization.
• Performs duties as workload necessitates.
• Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
• Meet Department productivity standards.
