Full Time Job
Department: Single Game Ticketing
Job Title: Seasonal Ticket Sales Staff
Reports To: Single Game Ticketing Coordinator
FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Term: October 1 – December 31, 2019
Commitment: Up to 30 hours/week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate an outgoing, enthusiastic and friendly disposition.
• Be comfortable and confident working with customers.
• Be able to work as part of a sales team.
• Assist shoppers to find the goods and products they are interested in purchasing.
• Answer questions regarding Reds ticket packages and merchandise.
• Responsible for handling credit card transactions.
• Work within established guidelines and timeframes.
• Manage inventory and ensure kiosk presentation is exceptional.
• Additional opportunities and special assignments may be offered.
Qualifications:
• Candidates should have prior work experience in at least one retail or sports setting.
• Candidates should be interested in sports business and should have already attained or are currently pursuing an undergrad/graduate degree in a related area of study.
• Candidates should have experience with hitting regular sales goals and should excel in communication.
• Candidates should be internally motivated to separate themselves from their peers.
• Ticketing system experience preferred.
Requirements:
• Must have open availability. Please note, there will be specific dates that staff members will be expected to work in the months of October, November and December, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must present self in a professional manner.
• Must be an energetic, reliable self-starter with an outgoing personality and be customer-service driven.
• Must have a general knowledge of Major League Baseball and its products.
• Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Work Environment:
• Work is normally performed in an interior retail setting, which may include several hours standing.
• May be required to lift heavy objects.

• Seasonal staff members are paid at State of Ohio minimum wage.
