Part Time Paid Internship
Department: Ticket Sales & Service
Job Title: Ticket Department Office Intern
Reports To: Manager of: Season, Premium, Group, or Single Game & Consumer Clubs
FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt
*Applications will be reviewed beginning the week of December 9.*
The Cincinnati Reds Ticket Department is seeking team-oriented individuals to fill a variety of roles in the ticket office for the 2020 baseball season. Office Interns will assist sales and service staff to meet and exceed department expectations. Internships begin in February or March 2020 and will run through September 2020. Available roles include:
• Group Sales (1 position)
• Premium Sales (2 positions)
• Season Sales (1 position)
• Single Game Sales (1 position)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include:
• Gain knowledge of products and overall ticketing business.
• Responsible for working on a computerized ticketing system and CRM
• Responsible for providing an exceptional experience for every guest that visits Great American Ball Park
• Responsible for working some gamedays throughout the season
• Mailing ticket orders and product information
• Perform other duties as assigned
Group Sales
• Coordinate logistics for group outings throughout the season
• Including pregame activities, ticket fulfillment requests and customer inquiries
• Conduct outbound call campaigns to potential groups
Season Sales
• Assist Season Ticket Members over phone, in person, on gamedays and at special events
• Escort Season Ticket Members to the field for batting practice viewings and ballpark tours
• Conduct Outbound Sales campaigns and customer service requests
Premium Sales
• Manage contracts for all single game suites
• Fulfill suite requests including in seat visits
• Escort premium clients to field for on-field Batting practice viewings and tours
• Assisting with special requests of Reds ownership and clients
Single Game Sales
• Assist with the preparation of Single Game Events, including concerts, offsite events, autograph sessions and theme nights
• Manage all the customer service phone line and email for Kids Clubs
• Manage strategic partnerships requests and fulfillments
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Currently pursuing, or have achieved, an undergraduate or graduate degree in Sports Management, Business or related field preferred.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good grammar, voice and diction.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing situations as necessary and resolve guest issues in real time.
• Ability to understand products and services, research and communicate information in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility in scheduling is required and will involve evenings, weekends and holidays (up to 40 hours per week)
Physical Demands:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; occasionally lift.
Work Environment:
• Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment and in a ''game-day'' environment with responsibilities where the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
• Hours may include nights, weekends and holidays.

• This is a seasonal, internship opportunity and no benefits will be provided.
• Paid interns are paid a minimum wage according to state law.
• Multiple internships are available for either Office or Game Day positions
Expectations:
• Adhere to Cincinnati Reds organization policies and procedures.
• Act as a role model within and outside the Cincinnati Reds organization.
• Performs duties as workload necessitates
• Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
• Meet department productivity standards.
