Job Title: Outreach Coordinator
Reports To: Sr. Outreach Manager
FLSA: Salary, Non Exempt
Job Purpose: To help operate some of the Reds Community Fund's key outreach programs; provide day-to-day support to the Outreach Manager as well as the Reds Youth Academy Director and Assistant Director as needed; serve as a flexible, cooperative member of a staff that recruits, promotes and implements Community Fund programming; serve as a positive, accessible representative of the team and Community Fund throughout Reds Country
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing all Fun at Bat program operations, including participant & volunteer recruitment and developing regional leadership teams in Cincinnati; Fairfield and Batavia
• Coordinate all internal and external communication and correspondence for Reds Youth Academy participants, parents, and volunteers as well as program instructors and Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (R.B.I.) coaches
• Oversee coordination and operational efforts for all tournaments and events hosted at the Reds Youth Academy
• Manage all front desk operations at the Reds Youth Academy including but not limited to facility scheduling, coordinating all team practice time(s), etc.
• Manage all day-to-day operational responsibilities for the Fun at Bat one day clinic activities
• Oversee all marketing efforts (including digital and social media) for the Reds Youth Academy
• Additional duties as assigned.
Experience, Education and Licensure
• Bachelor's degree required: sports management, communications, marketing or business degree preferred
• Prior experience in sports, community affairs, marketing or public relations required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including, but not limit to, Excel and Outlook
• Strong organizational and writing skills required
• Must have the ability to multitask and to work independently
• The ability to work overtime and to meet deadlines is essential
• Must exhibit the willingness to assist others with courtesy and cooperation

While performing the duties of this job, the employee might be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
