Chromista is looking for a Graphic Designer / Office Assistant with a creative mentality who thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. The ideal candidate has a passion for filmmaking / graphic design / social media and wants to learn how to concept and contribute to amazing creative work. You will support our creative team and help shape some of the most intriguing brands in the world. We're looking for a talented team player with a positive and fun attitude toward work.
What you'll do:
• Discover and compile stock photos to build social media content calendars, brand materials and campaign mood boards.
• Support the development of all design for social media content including cinemagraphs, GIFs, videos, photos and other multimedia content.
• Organize and archive creative files for internal and external delivery.
• Design a wide range of multimedia marketing, promotional pitch presentations/decks and materials.
• Assist in conceptualizing video shoots that result in top-notch creative for our clients.
• Answer phones and assist in general office tasks.
Must Haves:
• Educational experience in Illustration / Graphic Design or equivalent.
• Acute attention to detail with outstanding graphic design skills.
•Ability to tackle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a creatively demanding environment.
•A relentless desire to consume media, digital marketing and industry innovation.
•Eagerness to learn how to contribute to strategic brainstorms, creative brief development and execution.
• Ability to work independently to solve creative problems.
Skills, Education and Experience
• At least 1 year of professional creative experience.
• Knowledge of social media creative best practices and exporting optimized media for social platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Keynote.
• Basic knowledge of After Effects, video editing and photo retouching.
• Strong oral, written, organization and communication skills are essential.
