*Hybrid position three days in office two remote* great opportunity for recent college graduate*
Chicken Soup for the Soul, LLC is looking for an exceptional Business Development Coordinator to support the Chief of Staff to the CEO as well as core business operations and strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this individual will work in close collaboration with the CEO, C-Suite executives and business stakeholders, as well as third parties.
In This Role You Will:
Lead and / or support special projects and strategic opportunities, as needed
Serve as a thought partner to the CEO and COS
Strategize and prioritize scheduling of meetings to align with annual goals and priorities
Support business development needs including preparing presentations along with M&A administration and organization
Support the COS in board communications
Closely collaborate with the executive team on initiatives set as priorities by the CEO
Collaborate with the CEO's direct reports and senior management on pressing items
Assist with preparing materials for Board of Directors, All Hands, and 3rd party meetings, as needed; maintain core external-facing presentations / documents
Regularly monitor the Chief of Staff's email to identify action items and ensure follow through
Be expected to travel as needed with the CEO and attend all meetings (taking notes and tracking follow-ups) with the CEO when the COS is not present
Provided administrative support for scheduling, calendar management, travel, expense reports, contracts/agreements
Additional support as may be needed to support the office of the CEO
Answer the office lines and deliver messages to team members
Oversee mail and postal items (going to the post office daily, sorting / opening mail, scanning mail as necessary)
Oversee office supply needs including stocking shipping supplies and kitchen
Qualifications:
College degree in Business Management or Finance recommended.
1-2 years corporate experience working in business development, operations, and/or in an administrative capacity supporting senior leadership preferred.
