Manager, Ticket Promotions
Reports to: Director, Ticket Strategy
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize and compose ticket sales promotions targeted at the individual game ticket purchaser.
• Work with various departments including Marketing, Analytics, Ticket Sales, Ticket Box Office, Game Operations, and Park Operations, as well as Ticketmaster, to develop and execute ticket sales programs and offers.
• Develop new ticket promotions to complement existing programs such as Bleachers and Brews, the Sox Student Pass and Family Four Packs.
• Work with Ticket Office, Park Operations, and other departments to conceptualize and plan individual game ticket offers.
• Request and distribute all in-house creative service needs in respect to advertising ticket promotions
• Generate content for whitesox.com emails promoting individual game tickets
• Analyze offer performance and develop new strategies for incremental sales
• Track promotions and make adjustments to maximize revenue success, working with internal Analytics team to request, capture and analyze data on all promotions.
• Fulfill additional assignments as needed, including working on game day.
Requirements:
• College Degree in Sport Management, Business, Communications, Marketing or related field.
• 4 years ticket sales and marketing experience; some ticket operations experience a plus
• Proven success in developing and executing ticket offers to generate revenue
• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is required; Ticketmaster system knowledge a significant plus
• Foundational CRM experience & analytics knowledge
• Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices
• Ability to multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles and work well under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills a must, ability to adhere strictly to project timelines and/or deadlines.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; must work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and commitment to flawless execution and follow-through in all responsibilities a must
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays (based on team's home baseball schedule)
