Coordinator, Ticket Marketing
Reports to: Manager, Advertising
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Overview
In collaboration with VP of Sales & Service, Sr. Director of Marketing and Advertising, Communications Department, Ticket Sales Directors, and the Manager, Ticket Promotions and other key stakeholders, assist in the development/creation of all ticket sales campaigns and communications including digital ads, brochures, emails, social media, text messages, in stadium announcements, web assets, and broadcast drop ins, among others.
Ticket Sales Communications Responsibilities
• Serve as ticket sales liaison of digital and social ticket marketing initiatives
• Research and recommend opportunities to optimize email/social creative and campaigns based on results of executed campaigns (open rates, click thru rates, sharing) and marketing best practices; working with internal and external partners.
• Work in collaboration with internal marketing, digital and social teams to build out whitesox.com pages, social posts and content which supports ticket sales products.
• Work within the Ticket Sales department to write scripts and brainstorm ideas for client communication (scripts for OneMob videos, splash pages, FEVO landing pages and web instructional videos)
Marketing/Client Service
• Write/Produce emails and post purchase surveys targeted to ticket buyers (season, group, premium or individual game tickets)
• Design email ticketing campaigns that are consistent with the Chicago White Sox brand style.
• Write, deliver and execute Ticketmaster based reminder emails for ticket purchasers.
• Work closely with Design Department to create sales collateral materials for print, social and advertising.
• Work with Game Operations and Broadcasting department to write/produce in park video board graphics and announcements and broadcast dropins promoting different ticket offerings.
• Fulfill additional assignments as needed by Ticket Sales management team, including being available on game days.
Requirements:
• College Degree in Communications, Sport Management, Business, Marketing Communications or related field. Copywriting experience preferred.
• Two (2) years communications, marketing or copywriting experience; some ticket sales or operations or design experience a plus
• Foundational CRM experience, analytics knowledge and Ticketmaster
• Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing and promotional trends and best practices
• Ability to multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles and work well under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills a must, ability to adhere strictly to project timelines and/or deadlines.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; must work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and commitment to flawless execution and follow-through in all responsibilities a must
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays (based on team's home baseball schedule)
