We are seeking a self-starter who is creative, analytical & driven to fill the position of a Digital Marketing Strategist. In this role, you will create the paid digital media practice inside of the organization that will make our marketing efforts more efficient, generate incremental revenue from ticket sales and help drive strong results for our corporate partner's branded content efforts.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Digital Marketing Strategist, you will handle the digital marketing strategy and execution related to all Chicago Bulls marketing initiatives. Working closely with internal teams including Marketing, Ticketing and Corporate Partnerships, it will be your responsibility to lead all paid digital marketing efforts. Using your knowledge and expertise of digital media, you will work on lead generation for season ticket & group ticket initiatives, you will help market our individual ticketing products, you will help sell single game tickets, you will support the marketing of our youth basketball initiatives & camps and you will support the performance of our branded content initiatives.
More specifically, you will be responsible for the following:
• Creating an advanced digital media practive within the Bulls organization.
• Educate teams on possibilities in and benefits of investing into paid digital media.
• Executing digital marketing campaigns (whether running in-house, or through external agencies) - specifically executing our Paid Social, Display/ Programmatic and Paid Search efforts.
• Set processes into place that can run multiple campaigns for numerous different corporate partners against different target audiences in both an accurate and efficient manner.
• Bringing a test and learn mentality to all paid media efforts, optimizing our spend on the back of any findings and sharing insights back into the organization.
• Make creative recommendations for marketing and ticketing focused initiatives.
• Build weekly and monthly reports that highlight the performance of investments into paid digital media.
• Work closely with the Business Strategy & Analytics team to understand ultimately impact of your efforts on the business (i.e. understanding end-to-end conversion of season ticket leads and where single game buyers are new to our environment versus repeat buyers.)
• Evaluate current technology & agency solutions and make recommendations about future state here for optimal digital media buying, optimization and tracking.
• Evaluate balance of agency support versus internal execution and recommend optimal approach moving forward.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree
• 2 years of experience with digital media buying & strategy
• Hands on experience with Paid Social, Display/ Programmatic & Paid Search.
• Experience with a focus on performance media is a major plus
• Experience running multiple simultaneous budgets/ campaigns, budget pacing, goal setting, creative, bid optimization and reporting.
• Has a deep understanding of media buying, optimizing and tracking technologies
• Agency experience is plus
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Highly organized and strong time management abilities
• Strong communication (both written and verbal)
• Works effectively and quickly in a dynamic environment
• Initiative and dedication to challenge self and continually strive for improvement
Note that this role requires flexible work hours and may include work outside of normal office hours during the business week and on weekends.
