Summary
We are seeking a full time in-house Creative Manager/Graphic Designer to work on the social media accounts for a major entertainment franchise. Please send resume, cover letter, and salary requirements.
Responsibilities
• Help grow social media presence across multiple platforms by providing innovative design solutions for digital, social media, and relevant emerging new media platforms.
• Work with team to develop visual guidelines for social media presence.
• Work with team to create original content for communities.
• Work with team to design all graphics across the digital landscape.
• Create, shoot and edit video for distribution on web, mobile and social platforms.
• Stay abreast of the changes in the social media landscape and particularly how it pertains to visual manifestations of content.
• Be a creative thinker who can solve design challenges and develop original designs that are within the brands pillars and high standards.
• Has the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple projects.
• Assist with updating social content calendars.
• Assist with creating reports. Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in graphic design or similar creative content field.
• Must demonstrable experience creating compelling social media content that brings a brand or IP to life. Preferably to have worked in entertainment.
• Experience growing social media presence across multiple platforms with understanding of what different requirements each platform has
• Advanced abilities with Adobe Creative Cloud (formerly Adobe CS) and experience with other software, e.g. Canva, welcomed.
• Intermediate to advanced use of video editing (or Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects knowledge) for multi-media content creation.
• Team player but brings ideas to the table and executes flawlessly.
• Communicative, cooperative, friendly and professional. Interacts well with a wide range of people and respects confidentiality
• Accountability: meets deadlines in a timely matter and promptly communicates any potential delays or setbacks.
• Background and/or genuine interest in entertainment a must.
