Casting a host/hostess for a new children's show now in development in upstate PA. This is for a pilot that will lead into the series.
Show synopsis: EPCAMR is a non-profit that relates in watershed development and mine reclamation. This new doco-series will feature the two directors from the non-profit and their staff in different outdoor locations/settings and will cover topics such as history, science, and ecology. The person or persons qualified must be familiar with the sciences: geology, ecology, biology, and aerology. You will need to read and memorize terms and topics for short scripted on camera narration and off camera animation for the series. Must be able to interpret and articulate clearly the terms and process of these subjects into terms that children will understand while out on location. Must be able to relate and love to work with kids on the fly, age ranges 6 to 12.
Experience in these fields and show reels/resumes/references that relate to a children's show, especially kids 10-14 range who can host and are applying, will be a huge plus and will move your status to the front of the line!
Auditions will take place on April 2nd - 3rd, 2018 from 9 am to 3 pm in Ashley PA. Address, times, dates, & location subject to change and each applicant that is accepted will be notified via email of the audition time, date, and location.
The host/hostess for the pilot is a paid position with a shoot of approximately 2-4 days at 8-12 hour days depending on the shot list and locations. If the pilot is picked up and series follows, a salary and expenses are paid for additional shows thereafter.
