Part Time Job
Looking to fill a paid, part-time flex assistant position.
Responsibilities:
-15-25 hours per week to be determined based on both assistant's and manager's schedule.
-Some experience preferred, but also an excellent position for someone looking to learn the nuts and bolts of the industry.
-Day to day major responsibilities includes speaking with casting offices, maintaining client audition schedules, following up on and confirming audition appointments, answering phones, office upkeep and general organization. Some submitting on and sending out audition appointments.
-Minor responsibilities include: attending showcases, screenings/client shows, run errands, and restock supplies.
-Over time, flex assistant will ideally develop industry knowledge and be open to discussing projects with clients, research upcoming pieces, submit on projects/send appointments without supervision, maintain email correspondence, and develop their own relationships within the industry.
Qualifications:
-A passion for art and drive for a career in the entertainment industry
-Previous internship, or office job experience highly preferred
-Bachelors degree or currently enrollment in an accredited university, if not must have some industry experience.
-Some theatre or film/TV knowledge
-Experience with Breakdown, EcoCast, InEntertainment and CastIt preferred
