The VP Brand Creative will continue to prove to viewers that CBS is the most unifying media brand by highlighting the power CBS has to make audiences feel emotionally connected, encouraged, entertained, and informed.
The VP will lead the creative evolution of the CBS Brand across all consumer touchpoints by translating complex strategic inputs into inspiring creative briefs to drive brand love and significance. They will implement those challenges by partnering with internal Creative Directors and external resources, working together to create breathtaking, attention-grabbing creative solutions across all channels (and maybe new ones we haven€™t thought of yet).
The VP should be a highly strategic problem solver with a record for leading hands-on brand campaigns across print, OOH, events & experiential, digital and social media. Should have practical experience creating concept decks, strategic input briefs, and creative briefs at top consumer-facing brands (entertainment is a plus). They will be responsible for handling single and cross-branded campaigns for CBS, CBS Studios, CBS News and CBS Sports as well as product and educational campaigns for CBS Originals on Paramount .
They should be comfortable engaging entry-level through executive collaborators and working with many different types of creative professionals and creative outputs. They should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, flourish with creativity and innovation, and work to inspire a multifunctional team with a management approach that accepts partnership, collaboration, mentorship, open communication, and diversity.
Responsibilities:
• Drive and oversee the creative vision for the CBS brand that is articulated and rigorously handled at all customer touchpoints. Possess the ability to inspire new thinking and energize teams to think beyond their division to combine the full power of the CBS brand!
• Deep understanding of audiences, trends, and insights, with the ability to apply this knowledge to all creative solutions and projects
• Highly skilled storyteller that writes stylized pitch presentations, and can build a clear, compelling strategic narrative that helps to set up and frame creative work
• Incredible attention to detail, while still working under tight timelines
• Ability to communicate the CBS brand vision to agencies and articulate detailed feedback throughout the life-cycle of a project, integrating strategy, media and leadership feedback
• Evolve the CBS team culture by taking creative risks, cultivating new and innovative ideas, and producing groundbreaking creative for marketing campaigns
• Collaborate effectively with other marketing team leaders, as well as other collaborators outside of marketing to develop better/bigger creative ideas as well creative alignment with Network/Studio/ development executives, EPs and show runners, talent and other key collaborators at the Network, Studio and Paramount .
• Work collaboratively, opportunistically, and proactively across our ViacomCBS sister brands, networks, and platforms to support our marketing objectives as required by any given initiative, as well as share standard methodologies, data, and other findings.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years of experience in entertainment creative marketing.
Additional Qualifications:
• Ability to develop forward-thinking ideas for a wide range of entertainment marketing asset types, designed to drive customer acquisition/retention as we deepen audience engagement and enhance the CBS brand position.
• High-level understanding of traditional and digital entertainment marketing, including but not limited to on-air, display, print, OOH, paid social, performance and digital media channels.
• Exemplary great teammate able to establish relationships quickly with internal and external collaborators with a wide range of personality types.
• Proficient in Adobe suite of products and add-ons.
• Comfortable in a test-and-learn environment.
• Ability to influence direction on a wide range of department issues.
