CBS MEDIA VENTURES is currently looking for a production coordinator to support the on-air promotion team on two of television's top-rated nationally syndicated shows. Candidates should be energetic, motivated self-starters, eager to learn all aspects of promo production.
This role will work hand in hand with the creative and editorial teams in all facets of the promo production process. The ideal candidate will be a creative individual with an ability to collaborate within a team environment. This is a hands-on position, in which you will perform a wide variety of tasks from clerical to technical to production.
Job duties include (but are not limited to):
• Downloading, ingesting, digitizing and logging footage
• Managing digital media
• Handling off-site tape vaults
• Basic editing tasks in support of the affiliate relations team, including clip pulls, tagging, transcoding, etc.
• Creating and maintaining daily, weekly, and seasonal production schedules
• Processing and tracking invoices and expenses
• On-boarding new vendors and freelancers
• Booking voiceover talent and submitting all required paperwork
• Various administrative duties, as needed
Required Skills:
• Strong working knowledge of Windows
• Fluency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Experience with non-linear editing software such as Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere
Additional Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge and interest in the world of television production
• Must be able to work under time constraints and deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
• Must have strong work ethic, positivity and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Creativity, energy, enthusiasm, organization and initiative are important
• Must be a quick and enthusiastic learner with an eagerness to develop a wide variety of production skills
• Ability to work within established workflow, protocols and procedures
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years relevant experience in Video/Film Production
