The CBS Sports Digital Strategy team is responsible for crafting and developing high-performing sales opportunities that deliver value to our brand partners. The team oversees all key sports properties including NFL, Fantasy Sports, Soccer, NCAA Football and Basketball, PGA and numerous others!
The Coordinator of Digital Strategy, CBS Sports, assists in the activation of sponsorships for custom branded programs, driving process excellence, detailed execution and client satisfaction. The Coordinator will work cross-functionally with a wide array of internal partners including sales, editorial, production, legal, yield and ad operations, ensuring the success of sponsored campaigns.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-based, and thrives in this fast-paced and quickly evolving marketplace! The role will support and specialize in post-sale activation, ensuring the successful launch of sponsored campaigns, and monitor the pacing of the campaigns from launch through completion.
Your Day-to-Day:
• Assist in the management of post-sale execution of sponsorships and custom brand programs, including tracking key creative assets, monitoring live elements to ensure peak performance, and preparing client-facing wrap reports
• Support the development of custom content and sponsorship opportunities, architecting solutions that excite media buyers, deliver value to our audience, and drive revenue for ViacomCBS
• Assist with the creation of sales marketing collateral, positioning business unit assets (i.e. shows, tent poles, features, etc.), in a positive light, maximizing client applicability and ViacomCBS competitive distinctness
• Contribute to brainstorm sessions and weekly editorial meetings, keeping and distributing notes and records to internal partners
• Contribute to in-bound RFP requests, priority client programs, and business-wide ad sales growth initiatives by bringing a highly valued business unit expertise
• Assist with day-to-day and team advancement projects (e.g. internal process audits and improvements) that create new efficiencies and improve work quality
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree
• 1-2 years of experience in marketing or related field (strong internships experience considered)
• Excellent storytelling, writing, and communication skills, with an understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives
Additional Qualifications:
• Strong grasp on culture, with a keen understanding of what is important and ability to spot upcoming trends
• Talent in distilling complex information into simple, memorable terms that sales and clients can grasp and act upon
• Detailed oriented with ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
• Proficiency in software (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) with the ability to learn new systems
• Positive, insatiably curious and resourceful, with a strong ethic
