Full Time Paid Internship
KCBS2/KCAL9 TV, the CBS Owned & Operated Duopoly in Los Angeles, is looking for an Intern. Students interested in pursuing a career in television news will have an opportunity to experience the day to day operations within a major Broadcast News station. Internship programs are for approximately 12 weeks and conclude at the end of semester.
Program Description:
News Interns will be able to observe and assist in many facets of the News Department's operation. This includes answering phones at the Assignment Desk, helping to log videotape, and doing research for stories. Interns will also be able to observe writers, producers, editors and others. Interns may also have the opportunity to accompany reporters in the field.

• Enrolled in a full-time accredited college or university, and be an incoming junior or senior.
• Must receive course credit, and/or provide a letter of acknowledgement from direct advisor stating that this internship will directly benefit candidates' degree
• Must have excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word & Outlook)
