JOB TITLE: PROMOTION COORDINATOR
DEPARTMENT: MARKETING AND PROMOTIONS
SUPERVISOR: MARKETING DIRECTOR
97.1 AMP RADIO (Los Angeles) has a rare, and immediate opening for a Promotions Coordinator. The position will be instrumental in continuing to develop the AMP RADIO brand in the market.
ESSENTAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
AMP RADIO is looking for a dynamic full-time Promotions Coordinator that will make a full contribution to the success of the Marketing/Promotions, Programming and Sales departments by being an effective team member; assist in the execution of station promotions from inception to completion; assist and coordinate in a timely manner general Marketing and Promotions department functions.
Promotions Coordinator will assist Marketing Director and Promotions Manager, and supervise part-time promotions assistants and interns when applicable. Daily activity will include but not be limited to: writing proposals and copy, event and promotional planning and execution, creating contesting, actively seeking promotional partnerships, community development and administrative duties. Involves evening and weekend responsibilities as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Creative, ambitious, energetic, competitive leader with the ability to develop and motivate staff is a must.
• Organized individual with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.
• Strong computer skills required including writing, web development, photo editing and presentation design.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
