CBS Radio Account Executive

CBS Radio, one of the largest major-market radio operators in the United States, is seeking experienced sales professionals to develop and sell advertising and marketing campaigns to new and existing clients. Responsibilities include soliciting new business through prospecting and cold calling, managing and growing existing accounts, identifying clients’ advertising and marketing needs, and developing and presenting customized solutions to meet those needs. These individuals are also held accountable for achieving sales budgets and collecting on the accounts.

CBS RADIO continues to make aggressive moves to converge new and traditional media through creative programming and advanced delivery methods. Audio streams of more than 100 CBS RADIO stations and custom channels are currently available online, and a third of the Company's stations are broadcasting in HD digital radio. CBS RADIO also launched the world's first podcast programmed radio station, KYOURADIO, and offers more than 100 regularly scheduled podcasts through its news and news/talk stations.

The successful candidates must possess exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiations skills. They must be self-motivated, goal driven and creative, with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Sales experience is required. Outside and media sales experience are preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate
insurance.
