Full Time Paid Internship
Division Overview:
Our content teams are responsible for developing and producing compelling stories-as told through video, editorial, and social platforms-that promote programming for both CBS and CBS All Access. Regardless of the medium, our team also optimizes the best of CBSi's content to drive fan acquisition, engagement, and retention by leveraging data analytics, analyzing the competitive landscape, and recognizing opportunities for innovation in this always-on world.
Role Details:
• The Video Team Intern will help edit social video content in support of our CBSi summer initiatives. In addition they will also be given the opportunity to attend set visits both in our studio and on location working closely with our production crew. Our goal is to help them develop and grow their skills in the areas of production and post production.
Your Day-to-Day:
• Editing social video content for digital platforms with the supervision of a mentor
• Work as a Production Assistant on Production Shoots both in studio and on location
• Assist production coordinator on media management for hard drives
• Research episodic video content for upcoming asset based video projects
• Attend project related meetings when necessary
Logistics
• Time commitment: full-time, 40 hours per week.
• This is a paid internship and can also be for university credit if it meets your university's guidelines
Qualifications:
What you bring to the team:
You have –
• Graduate level candidates only
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Cloud
• Knowledge of video editing, motion/animation, and digital production, with an understanding of exporting, transcoding and converting video files
• Ability to do basic sound design & audio mixing as well as ability to handle color correction
• Knowledge of cameras, codecs, bit rates, frame rates, etc..
• On Set Production Assistant experience
• Someone with a positive ''can do'' attitude who also possess a strong work ethic
You might also have –
• Familiarity with Social Platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
• Experience After Effects CC, Photoshop CC and Media Encoder
Additional requirements:
• Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or bootcamp
• Must be at least 18 years old
