Full Time Paid Internship
The UI Design Intern will be responsible for creating and communicating concepts, developing interactive design solutions and working with other UI team members to complete design projects. This individual will also help to create show art, design user interfaces and work with a collaborative team of producers, developers, and respective marketing and sales clients. The intern will also assist other teams such as online/email marketing and video production with concepting and storyboarding.
Role Responsibilities:
• Develop concepts and communicates ideas
• Create compelling designs for web, mobile and living-room devices
• Create show art to represent primetime, daytime and late night shows
• Design for online/email marketing campaigns
• Provide quality assurance of all creative deliverables
• Assist video team with story board designs for motion graphics (video knowledge a plus, but not required)
• Contribute to the innovative development of the creative department
• Additional duties as assigned
Logistics:
• Time commitment: full-time, 40 hours per week during our regular office hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm) but times may vary per team
• This is a paid internship and can also be for university credit if it meets your university's guidelines
Qualifications:
• Must be detail oriented
• Experience designing websites and/or mobile apps
• Ability to think creatively and justify concepts to clients and team members
• Experience with strategic brainstorming and creative execution
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Understanding of OmniGraffle
Additional Requirements:
• Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Must be at least 18 years old
