Full Time Paid Internship
The Distribution & Operations team touches many points of the new and growing digital video distribution industry. The Summer 2019 Programming & Marketing Operations Intern will assist the Distribution & Operations team in various work streams including organizing and updating the ongoing schedules of digital linear and VOD distribution of CBS programming. We are seeking a strong self-starter who is passionate about both TV entertainment and technology to join the team with primary responsibilities that include:
• Capturing live marketing placements of approved campaigns launched with partners
• Maintaining and updating promotional trackers of campaigns pitched and filing approved creative
• Conducting competitive SVOD, VOD and linear programming strategy research/analysis
• Assisting with VOD content schedule updates and tracking
• Creating content artwork for digital storefront placement
• Assisting with content repricing and avails creation
• Research and create detailed documentation on new partner product features
• Helping with competitive advertising analysis
Logistics:
• Time commitment: full-time, 40 hours per week during our regular office hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm) but times may vary per team
• This is a paid internship and can also be for university credit if it meets your university's guidelines
Qualifications:
• Currently pursing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a similar field
• Passion for the TV Entertainment and Technology space
• Strong understanding of the SVOD, VOD and linear programming space
• Strong organizational skills and outstanding attention to detail
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, MS Excel in particular
Exceptional work ethic with ability to work independently, act proactively and drive resolution
Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communications
Strong analytical and problem solving skills – ability to analyze and make recommendations
Excellent communication skills, time management, and ability to work against tight deadlines
• Prior experience in television program windowing preferred but not required
• Program scheduling
• Multi-platform scheduling
• Rights clearance for a television network
Additional Requirements:
• Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Must be at least 18 years old
