We work collaboratively across multiple departments and channels to continually enhance our product, expand our distribution and effectively market our best-in-class content.
Role Details
CBS Interactive is looking for a highly-motivated college student looking to gain experience in the media marketing & partnerships space this Spring. You will be a part of a team that supports ET Live, our 24/7 streaming entertainment network. You'll be involved in day-to-day management of the activities associated with marketing ET Live including operations and asset trafficking, brainstorming and ideation, reporting and campaign analysis and competitive insights.
We are looking for someone with a passion for entertainment and technology with a keen attention to detail and organization. You must have excellent communication skills, a willingness to take on a range of challenges in the marketing space and enjoy a fast paced work environment.
Your Role
• Assist with the launch of marketing campaigns helping to track the distribution of assets across all platforms
• Maintain internal tracking documents and tracking systems with updates to campaigns and addition of new campaigns
• Input and update marketing creative design requests using Jira to create workflow tickets
• Compile creative design inspiration decks for key marketing campaigns
• Brainstorm marketing ideas around key events and general brand campaign that drives tune-in to the ET Live app
• Maintain the entertainment & pop culture programming calendar and update roadmaps for partners
• Help with the development of tracking links and reporting as it corresponds to each marketing campaign
• Develop and design post-mortem presentations recapping multi-platform marketing campaigns across mobile, desktop & partners for key stakeholder and internal review
• Keep a pulse on industry updates and competitor campaigns for a better understanding of landscape
Logistics
• Time commitment: part-time, 20 hours per week during our regular office hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm) but times may vary per team
• This is a paid internship and can also be for university credit if it meets your university's guidelines
Qualifications:
You are:
• A self-starter
• Proactive, organized, detail-oriented and able to follow detailed instructions
• Passionate about entertainment, pop culture, style, music and new technology
You have:
• Ability to work at least 20 hours per week
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects
• Mastery of Excel and/or Google Sheets and PowerPoint and/or Google Slides
• Strong communication (written, verbal, presentation) skills essential; can collaborate effectively across various departments
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills – ability to analyze and make recommendations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Additional requirements:
• Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Must be at least 18 years old
