Full Time Job
Supervise the finishing of promos and other promotional content for broadcast, digital, radio, etc. Interpret and execute creative instructions provided by the Writer/Producer/Editors, and Creative Directors. Supervise and approve final audio mix/color correction and export of completed audio files. Plan and coordinate production based on the availability of approved spots, completed avid projects and on-air deadlines. Maintain Audio Mixer and Colorist schedule to ensure efficiency.
Your Day-to-day:
• Supervise the color correction and audio sweetening of promos produced by the Writer/Producer/Editors as assigned by the Director of Production. This includes directing the activity of Audio Mixers, and Colorists
• Manage and QC (quality control) the production of media files for final air
• Interpret instructions as part of the marketing content production finishing
• Order graphics, resizing, and supply music information as required to ensure completion of promos
• Route final creative to Creative Director for approval
• Upload final creative for archiving and delivery
• Direct VO reads
QUALIFICATIONS:
What you bring to the team:
You have -
• Bachelor's Degree with a major in Television or Film production (from four-year college or university or 3 years related experience (e.g., a television network, network affiliate, major film studio, production company or advertising agency) and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience supervising production personnel and scheduling production facilities
• Solid technical background in post-production
• A thorough knowledge of editing, audio pre-lay and mixing, color correction, media file formats, animated graphics, and miscellaneous equipment used in typical day-to-day post-production
• A detailed understanding of file-based post-production workflows
• You are computer literate. This includes knowledge of both Mac and Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, database systems, and general word processing
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• A love for television, movies, trailers, and marketing!
• Strong attention to detail
• Organized with the ability to handle deadlines with multiple teams.
• A positive demeanor and ability to work effectively, both within multiple teams and independently.
