Director of Product Management

This is a Full Time Job

We’re looking for a seasoned product management executive with television and media experience. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years experience in product management. The candidate will help create the product strategy for TV com products and manage product managers to execute on the strategy.

The candidate should be an accomplished product manager, able to speak and translate the input of engineering. The candidate should have an entrepreneurial sensibility and a track record of delivering products. The candidate should have good technical capabilities, comfortable in a variety of programming languages and be well-versed in web, mobile and social media.

As Director of Product Management you will:
• Help define the strategic plan for tv com.
• Create the product roadmap and communicate it to the organization. This includes senior leadership, engineers and product managers.
• Direct management of product managers.
• Coordinate and act as liaison between product, engineering, editorial, design, sales and marketing.
• Determines product lifecycles; brings new products to successful launch and evolves products in response to market demands and acceptance
• Stays abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive developments
• Develops, manages, and reports metrics for growth
• Write product requirements and cross functionally manage engineering teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• MBA strongly preferred.
• Love of television and movies strongly preferred.
