Full Time Paid Internship

The CBS Strategic Sourcing Department develops and executes sourcing strategies that drive operational excellence. Our goal is to provide savings to CBS, develop and implement efficient processes, and provide a high level of service to our CBS stakeholders. We achieve this by following an established, and carefully thought out, sourcing process.
The successful candidate, reporting to the Director of Analytics, will lead a significant process improvement initiative within the function and assist with various administrative tasks. This project will help the intern gain a comprehensive view of the sourcing process that could serve as the foundation to a successful career in Procurement.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Process Improvement
The initiative relates to our eSourcing process and Savings Reporting process.
• Map current state, gathering team feedback, research industry best practices, and propose recommendations.
• Implement process improvement recommendations as applicable.
• Intern will support new additions to current contract, policies, and terms & conditions documentation.
Administration
The intern will assist in the updating of Strategic Sourcing's internal web page to reflect latest information and resources.
• Assist in the uploading and updating of contracts in our contracts platform.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
• Must be a graduate or undergraduate student with a solid academic standing at an accredited college or university and be enrolled for full-time continued education.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, business process analysis and problem solving capabilities.
• High motivation and results-oriented work ethic.
• High attention to detail and have good organizational skills.
• Must be able to work effectively with various groups and constituencies.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products, e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Interest or desire to work in Television, Media or Entertainment a plus.
