Full Time Paid Internship
The CBS Strategic Sourcing Department is comprised of professionals who develop sourcing strategies in order to drive operational excellence. Our goal is to provide savings to CBS, develop and implement efficient processes, and provide a high level of service to our CBS stakeholders.
Purpose of Position
This intern position will report to the Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Green Initiatives. Responsibilities include assisting the department in key enterprise-wide projects which provide cost savings and process improvement, outstanding internal customer service, and supporting the Department's annual goals.
This position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to lead at least one project throughout his/her internship and present the findings to Strategic Sourcing Department and business partners. Potential project opportunities include sourcing for Production, Post-Production, Broadcast, and Media categories.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities
• Analyze environmental data for the studio for monthly reporting
• Research sustainable products and technology for Production, Operations, and Broadcast Facilities
• Assist with planning and execution of sustainability events
• Complete Green Production Guide toolkits and submit for EMA Green Seal awards
• Interact with internal and external business partners to analyze and validate data
• Perform in depth research and category analysis and present opportunity landscape
• Present end of internship project to Strategic Sourcing Department and business partners
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
• Must be recent graduate or have a Masters or other post graduate work. A student with a solid academic standing at an accredited college or university and be enrolled full-time or part-time/evening.
• Preferred Majors/Minors: Business, Finance, Film & Media, Environmental Science, Engineering
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, business process analysis and problem solving capabilities
• Some Film/TV/Media production experience a plus
• High motivation and results-oriented work ethic
• High attention to detail and have good organizational skills
• Must be able to work effectively with various groups and constituencies
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Interest or desire to work in Television, Media or Entertainment
