News Producer
CBS58 seeks an experienced News Producer to complement our news team. Responsibilities are primarily producing the daily newscast. This job requires a strong communicator in the newsroom with the familiarity of multiple news platforms, strong writing ability and editing skills. We are looking for someone with a passion to improve storytelling.
Requirements:
Candidate must be an excellent writer/editor able to produce a fast-paced, high-energy newscast in a competitive market.
Knowledge and demonstration of creativity, editorial judgment, journalistic ethics and libel laws.
Flexible schedule to meet the needs of a daily newscast.
Must have at least two years producing experience.
iNews experience a plus.
The ideal candidate must have a complete understanding of a multi-platform newsroom and be able to manage a newscast with multiple lives shots utilizing backpack technology.
