Our Milwaukee station newsgroup has a new opening for News Operations Manager. We are looking for someone with strong managerial and logistic skills, with a working knowledge of a multi-platform newsroom, to join our leadership team.
In this role, you will oversee the scheduling, training and development of the photography, edit and news assignment teams and execute operational aspects of all newscasts, special events coverage, and breaking news. Develop and implement efficient workflows that promote high-quality production values and assist in the development, implementation, and training of new and existing systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced growing newsroom with content airing on multiple local channels. Must have a proven record of success in photography, newsgathering and edit operations with experience as an operation manager, chief photographer, managing editor or production manager.
