Our seasonal program offers individuals ''hands-on'' experience in several different business areas.
Whether it be Marketing, Graphics, Information Technology, Human Resources, Sales, Business Analytics, Facility Operations or another exciting role here, our teams are looking to fill positions with passionate and talented candidates for a variety of entry level roles.
Those selected to work will have the opportunity to become acquainted with the sports and entertainment industry. These individuals will be able to prove (and improve) their abilities through various job duties and responsibilities while gaining valuable experience working for a NBA team.
This is a temporary position generally running through the CAVS season at $15.00 / hour.

Job Summary: Information Technology (IT)
The Seasonal Assistant - IT will assist in various parts of the product/application life cycle, from concept design, to prototyping, to front and back-end production, testing and deployment, primarily using Python and a wide range of Amazon Web Services.
Responsibilities:
• Write and refactor micro service (''serverless'') functions using Python that align with our best practices
• Update Shared Postman Collection
• Learning & Writing SQL queries against many different types of databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres)
• Working with a team for Database Design and Implementation (DynamoDB, Postgres)
• Support the development of process and training documentation
• Work as a member of an Agile/SCRUM development team, assisting in planning, designing, developing, and implementing.
Skills
& Experience:
• Graduate in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
• Experience building serverless applications on AWS with AWS SAM or serverless Framework using API Gateway, Lambda, SNS, Kinesis, and more
• Experience in test-driven development, Pandas and Jupyter Notebooks a plus, working with data warehouses is a plus
Job Summary: Business Intelligence Group (BIG)
The Seasonal Assistant – BIG, will primarily be responsible for assisting the Business Intelligence team with current analytical and operational processes. The position will assist data-driven initiatives which primarily support Ticketing, Premium Hospitality, and Corporate Partnership operations.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine data maintenance (i.e. cleansing, verifying accuracy, auditing records, etc.)
• Perform basic data calculations and analysis
• Assist in the creation of reports and dashboards
• Support the development of process and training documentation
• Support in-depth analysis and strategic recommendations to leadership
• Create new automation solutions for business data needs
Skills
& Experience:
• Graduate in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Demonstrated competence in learning new software, analytical tools and/or programming languages
• Example of analysis project included
