Job brief
We are looking for a qualified Sales account manager to join our small awesome team.
We are a bespoke entertainment company providing interactive & variety talent to corporate & social events.
You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with clients and overseeing sales.
As a Sales account manager, you should work to satisfy customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.
Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks & develop relationships with new clients
Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives & Report to CEO
Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, bring to life new ideas and programs to produce new business opportunities.
Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
Be self-directed and able to work independently with integrity.
Support strategic marketing & promotions initiatives
Manage client base to deliver highest level of customer satisfaction and maximize client retention
Requirements
Proven work experience in sales/marketing or management- ideally as a Sales account manager
Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
Knowledge & fluency of CRM software (we are using Dubsado)
Understanding of sales performance metrics & good organization skills
Excellent verbal & written communication and negotiation skills
An ability to answer inquiries on time, stay organized and follow up
Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
BSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
EXPERIENCE in EVENTS or ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY would be a big Bonus.
We work in a North West Berkeley office & prefer to have you in the office with us. Partial remote work is possible but we strongly prefer a local candidate.
