This position prepares/creates training materials and conducts training sessions for payroll coordinators, data entry and other payroll operations personnel, surrounding the technical skills related to payroll preparation, adjustments, contracts and payroll systems.
Essential Functions
• Prepare and coordinate preparation of training materials under the direction of the lead trainer. Assist with analyzing payroll systems, C&C procedures, union and payroll contracts and labor law. Compile currently available documentation.
• Assist with preparation of trainer scripts, PowerPoint presentations, hands-on exercises, workbooks, quick reference guides and handouts as necessary for each training topic/module identified.
• Assist in writing Training Manual: Compile training materials and documentation into a manual that can be used by all areas of the payroll operation.
• Conduct Training Sessions: Coordinate with senior management and department heads to schedule and implement training modules.
• Present training to various levels of employees, including implementation of cross training.
• Metrics: Capture metrics for skill level assessment and training effectiveness.
