The Payroll Analyst is responsible for working in the Cast & Crew Hours to Gross (HTG) system to review, configure, and test complex collective bargaining agreement provisions, federal and local labor statutes. This role supports the OSS team and payroll operations' area and is highly focused on delivering operational excellence, ensuring accurate gross payroll results as well as contributing to functional testing and design. This position will be responsible for helping manage the HTG contract tables and advice on expected payroll calculations for various agreement provisions.
Essential Functions
• Review and analyze the pay conditions of complex union/guild labor agreements. Work with Labor Relations team to update contract information/ rules as necessary
• Design and update regression testing, expected results, as well as perform testing of rules and functionality
• Provide support to end user issues. Troubleshoot problems accurately, have grace under pressure and possess a patient attitude to deal with a variety of situations and personalities
• Aid in prioritizing and resolving tickets as submitted
• Contribute to user training and documentation, including the development of various training materials
• Configure the pay rules and conditions within the HTG system for the various labor agreements
• Provide hands-on support to Payroll and HTG team with new rule role-outs and system functionalty
• Facilitate various ad hoc projects as needed

• Solid understanding and experience in the entertainment payroll industry contracts
• Four-year college degree preferred

• Ability to quickly comprehend/learn new processes, systems, and methods
• Self-motivated, must be able to work independently, goal-oriented and people-oriented
Physical Demands
• SEDENTARY - Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, or pull. Involves sitting most of the time, and may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
