Development Internship Spring 2012

This development internship is a learning opportunity.

Seeking interns interested in television drama development for the Spring 2012 semester at Carol Mendelsohn Productions. Duties will include project research, reading, script and book coverage, and administrative tasks such as answering phones, rolling calls and printing scripts.

Carol Mendelsohn Productions is a production company with an overall deal with CBS Television Studios based on the Universal lot with a focus in one hour procedural dramas. This is a great opportunity to gain assistant experience in the television world.

Internship requirements: Currently enrolled in undergrad or graduate program. Candidates should have some background in television either through school courses or past experience. Candidates must receive school credit for the internship and have fairly flexible hours, sometimes coming in once a week, other times coming in two days in a row contingent on workload. Candidates will also be required to submit coverage on an assigned script before hiring.

Previous internship experience is a plus.
