Job Summary
The Office of General Counsel at CAA ICON is looking for a Senior Paralegal with a minimum of 5 years' experience. The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidates must have the ability to effectively prioritize and organize a substantial amount of work. Senior Paralegal's tasks will vary, but day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:
Essential Functions
• Draft and distribute certain project management agreements, purchase orders, change orders and other documents related active construction/development project sites
• Draft and distribute NDAs and other transactional agreements
• Able to redline and run compares on various documents
• Maintain a detailed tracking database for all issued agreements
• Assist on special projects as needed
• Must be very good at managing own responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Able to handle multiple projects at once
• Very tech savvy; knowledgeable of Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Preferably adept at using e-signature services
• Excellent writing skills, great attention to detail and the desire to succeed; excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must
Required Experience & Education
• Minimum 5 years' experience with contract drafting, contract tracking and contract management
• Paralegal Certification
• Superior verbal and written communication; excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with team members and Company clients, and to respond effectively and
• quickly to their needs and issues; meet commitments and effectively manage expectations.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Handle confidential information discreetly and with sensitivity.
• High level of organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize competing demands.
• Self-starter with good problem-solving skills while maintaining client service orientation.
The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $43.26 - $52.88 per hour. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
