Responsibilities:
Royalty Accounting & Compliance
• Collect royalty reports and sales projections for 300+ licensees
• Calculate royalties and ensure complete, accurate and timely payment
• Analyze reports for compliance to contractual obligations
• Create and maintain client-facing financial reporting
• Maintain internal sales & royalty databases
Finance & Accounting
• Process accounts receivable and payable
• Follow up on past due accounts, manage bad debt at or below acceptable levels
• Track and account for withholding tax
• Deposit receivables
• Assist with month end closing (journal entries, balance sheet analysis)
• Assist with internal budgeting and reforecasting
Attributes:
• Organized with superb attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills – able to communicate well with a broad spectrum of international and domestic clients, attorneys, brand managers and co-workers
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize and multi-task
• Team player
Experience/Skills Required:
• Bachelor's or Associate degree with a business background
• Accounting/AP/AR experience 1+ years
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, special emphasis on Excel
• Licensing and Royalty accounting experience is a plus but not required
